How far in advance should I book my luxury picnic?
As far in advance as you can! The earlier you book your luxury picnic, the greater possibility we can accommodate you.
How much notice do you need to create my picnic?
We suggest you request booking at least 14 days in advance. You will receive confirmation of your booking by email.
How do I book my luxury picnic?
Use our contact us form to get started. Simply fill out the form and send your message. Next we will contact you to review your selection(s) and go over the finer details. We will then email you a final quote for your approval.
How does payment work?
To reserve your luxury picnic we require full payment at time of booking. After you have reviewed and signed your contract, you will be directed to a secure online portal that uses SSL encryption technology, which is the same technology banks use to protect sensitive information to process your payment. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.
Can I bring my own food?
It’s a Date luxury packages include a tasty charcuterie board (excluding The Playdate), with option to add (for a fee) yummy cold appetizers like; finger sandwiches, veggie platters, etc. Sparkling/still water and sparkling cider is also included. Otherwise, you are free to bring your own food and beverages! For alcoholic beverages, it is the responsibility of the client to check alcohol laws of any venue or public space being used for one of our picnics. We do not offer alcoholic beverages and are not held responsible for those who bring those items to their picnics.
Are there specific locations for your picnic setups?
Our luxury picnics can be setup anywhere around Cape Cod and surrounding counties whether it be a private location (e.g. your house or backyard) or a public location (e.g. a park or a beach).
Arrival time?
Please arrive on time. We will be at the picnic site to greet you. If you need to leave earlier than your booked time, we need a 30-minute notification from you via phone call or text. You are responsible for the picnic items until we return.
What if we break or spill something?
We are happy to clean up after you, that’s part of our service! Small spills like water or non-staining liquids will not incur a fee. However, if any surfaces are stained, you will be responsible for a cleaning fee. In the event of a broken or stolen item, a replacement fee will be imposed on the credit card used at the time of booking.
Cancellation Policy
Reservations need to be canceled at least 72 hours before the scheduled picnic time, or guest(s) will be charged in full. Guest(s) who allow cancellation notice of 72 hours or more will receive a refund of 50% of the picnic cost. If you book a picnic, and do not show up, It's a Date Cape Cod reserves the right to retain the entire amount paid at checkout.
Weather Policy
If the weather is unfavorable on the day you've reserved, don’t panic! You have a few options to choose from, and we are certainly willing to work with you!
